Mr. Shah joined Prospect Partners in September 2004. Prior to joining Prospect Partners, he was an Associate at the private equity firm Weston Presidio Capital, which manages four funds totaling over $2.2 billion in capital. Before that, Mr. Shah was an Analyst at Goldman Sachs & Co. in the Investment Banking Division, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions. He also served as a Summer Associate at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners (now Metalmark Capital), the former private equity group of Morgan Stanley & Co.

Mr. Shah is a Director of Gold Star Food Service, Inc., Knight Packaging Group, Inc., Kronos Foods, Inc. and Summit Fire Protection Co. He formerly served as a Director of Excello Products, LLC.

Mr. Shah earned a BA from Northwestern University, where he graduated summa cum laude, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
