Prospect Partners teamed with management to recapitalize Blackwood Solutions, Blackwood Resources and related entities (together, “Blackwood”) in May 2022. Blackwood is a leading utility services provider offering specialty transportation, logistics management, recycling, and disposal services to its customers.  Its customers include electric utilities, manufacturers and major storm-response contractors. Specific services Blackwood performs include: Wood pole, pallet and reel recycling, new pole hauling, utility right-of-way clearing, rail terminal transloading, and inventory management services.
